Carol Franzen

Carol Franzen has proudly served the people of Independence on the City Council since 2002. With more than two decades of public service, she is seeking to serve as Mayor to build on that experience and help shape the community we all want. Her priorities include maintaining safe neighborhoods, making responsible investments, listening to residents, and thoughtfully managing the city's inevitable growth in a way that reflects the values and vision of the people of Independence.
